Here and there I buy a .eu domain when a good name comes to mind, what about you, any buying a few for pre registration.

That is not a problem ..I have explained in previous thread how to qualify ..now if only I could find the thread ..

you can do it for under $200.oo I did go into details in another thread ..along with percentages ..the thread has since been "lost" ..;)

Be patient Zeus ..only half of the USA is awake at this time of day ;)..

BTW ..to broaden the question out a little ..are you buying yours as an investment to maybe sell on again?

or do you buy to protect your "brands"?

( I dont mean "trademarks" as "squatters" will have a hard time holding on to anything they wouldn't normally be entitled to )

or do you buy to get the .eu of some domain name you already own as dot com or whatever ..?

or because domain names is sort of addictive ;)

I've bought a few. Not sure if I will use them or if they will have resale value. But I figured why not.

Buying a few pre-registrations is no guarantee of actually registering the domains.

Leosghost - well if I get them I will first know in April, but I have bought 2 for myself for a possible new site and the rest will be for sale. You never know if you can get a hit I know I have 2 real good once.
