Those search figures are for webpages in the TLDs that Google has spidered. The problem with correlating domain counts to this is that the number of active domains in a TLD can vary from 60% of the registered domain count to around 96% in the ccTLDs. Of these, 50 to 80% might have websites. And an even lower percentage might have real, usable websites.

According to your chart .net is the biggest! Yesssss! I own some very nice .net doamins....does this mean they are climbing up as far as value goes?Don't get your hopes up yet. The .net tld is not the biggest - .com is. A simple inurl/site combination shows .net at around 207 Million pages. The same site/inurl check shows .com at around 4.190 Billion (4,190,000,000) webpages.
