The Register is reporting that sms.co.uk didn't reach its (huge) reserve price of £100,000. Those selling it were trying to promote it as THE greatest .co.uk ever on resale.

I can't help but laugh - I'm glad the huge amount of spin placed on it didn't override common sense.

The asking price was simply far-fetched.
