Ok i have this domain let's call it: example.com
3 different people have registered:
examp!e.com
ex@mple.com
e#ample.com

Is there a cheap way to fight this, it's more of an annoyance than a signifigant loss in money on the site.

If the value of the sales leads that you are generating is significant then you may wish to stem the leakage by registering typo domains. In your case it appears that it's too late to do this. So, unless you choose to either "go legal" on the parasites or offer to buy them out for the scant traffic value they generate I guess the annoyance will persist.

Life's full of interesting relationships, isn't it? You now have your very own collection of parasites, who likely are cheering for your greater and greater success. Think of them as your fan club. It's a much less unsettling image than thinking of them as leeches. :0)
