Can anyone offer a rundown on the startup of the .EU domain registry?

Sunrise trademark applications? Lottery? Current scams? Etc?

Anyone on top of the .EU issues that would care to address basic issues?

1. Land rush: Will there be one? How will it work?

2. Sunrise period: Has the sunrise (trademark protection) process started? How will it work? Dispute resolution mechanism?

3. Limitations on registering .EU domains? Geo restrictions? Local presence by proxy will suffice?

4. Cost info: Is the fee set? Limited?

Looks to be a long list of "approved" .EU registrars [list.eurid.eu]. Will all parts of the process - sunrise, landrush, registration (with presence providing) take place through all - or only some - of the long list of registrars?

Feel free to post reference urls (whilst not being overly self-promotional, if you please. ;) )

My company is in line for the sunrise registration process, and that has not yet begun. Some accredited registrars have begun taking pre-registration for the sunrise, but that's it.
