American Heart Association Forgets to Renew Domain

Right now [americanheart.org...] is showing a network solutions domain page.

Someone is getting a nasty call right about now.

Sheesh, they've now joined the "ranks" of some organizations who've forgotten to renew one
of their domain names. I hope they won't pluck out anyone's heart afterwards. :)

I just peeked, and I'm seeing Network Solutions on that URL.

Looking at Whois, the expiration date was October 8th. How could no one at the American Heart Association know that their website was down for over a week? You would think they would have taken a hint when the donation phones stopped ringing.

The sad thing is they could have paid for a registration 10 years out for a few hundred dollars. Instead, they probably lost hundreds of thousands of dollars in donations, while the website was down over the last week.

But, if you do an allinurl: for them, there are really only 1000 pages

They have NO supplementals listed, and only about 10-20 returns are URL only.

i.e. pretty clean website!

Have they figured out how to beat the Supplementals into submission?
