Hi all!

I wanted to move my domain from one domain server to another.

Since I am from easter Europe, new domain provider, didn't want to accept my credit card, and didn't want to give me ability to move my domain to another server.

First they asked to send them images of my credit card and ID card, and I did that. But after that, they did not answer on any of my emails.

That is very big problem for me - I am free lancer web developer, now I am without my email, and without my home page! Also, I am university student, I have to graduate in a 1 month time, and professor can not contact me because I don't have my old email address!

Also, new domain provider, extend ownership on my domain for one more year (until 2007). BTW, domain provider is, let's say popular domain provider, and they host a lot of domain names.

Can somebody can tell me what can I do in this situation? It is very frustrating, and it makes a lot of damage on my career.

Thank you in advance!

You could try alternate payment methods, such as wire transfer or Western Union.

Alternatively you could ask a friend in another country to issue the payment for you.

Is there posibility to take some legal action against them, because I was not informed that I can have trouble with my billing card, and to have such delay?

And also due to that, if I can not find somebody to take my payment, I can stay without my domain!

Is that "normal" thing?

Thanx!
