I am trying to buy my first .com.mx domain and find few registrars that sell them, and the ones that do have pricing that is sky high compared to US domains.

Can someone shed some light on this subject?

Country codes are "generally" more pricey. Then again, their demand isn't as high as their
gTLD counterparts.

And to think some of these guys want the US to relinquish the 'net to them. (oops, I'm
getting political here...)
