Domain search tools that don't come with hotlinks, logos, etc.

Are there any?

Other than acquiring a reseller account or possibly framing an internic.net search box (or popping it out in a new window) does anyone know of any domain search tool (WhoIs or availability search) that can be placed on one's website that meets these criteria:

1. Doesn't come with an imbedded logo to some company.
2. Doesn't come with an imbedded hotlink.
3. Doesn't require a reseller account.

Is an open source search tool?

I've come across one tool from a commercial (revenue generating) site that comes with an imbedded hotlink that that site. I'm not game for continually throwing up links to such a site.

So, anyone know of anything that would allow someone to query the WhoIs records for .com/n/o/b/info AND that doesn't come with any direct or indirect commercial baggage?

A commerce free WhoIs tool?

I somewhat doubt it exists and frankly, one reason that such a utility doesn't exist is that there's really not a great demand for it. Why? Because it's so easy to get the information otherwise, if you're really interested in checking domains.

Thanks for the source material. Is it a utility that you have installed? Results?
