i just set up my first website.
mysite.com and www.mysite.com works the same.

but i want user to go to www.mysite.com when they type in mysite.com, i know www.mysite.com/index.html and mysite.com/index.html are pointing to the same file, but i want address bar in browsers to show www.mysite.com/...
instead of mysite.com/... for every folder and files in the site.

any suggestion will be appreciated.

btw could this cause any problem with indexing by Search engines?

regards

This is more in the nature of a "server settings" question than a domain name question.

What O/S are you using: Win2K, WinX, Apache, etc? Do you have administrative access? Are you on a shared server?

Regarding search engines I'd suggest mining WW for posts about permanent 301 re-directs as one entry point to the analysis.
