I don't see any advantages other than it gives you the opportunity to use a name that exists in other TLD's.
Beware you are not infringing on trademarks and registered names.
Personally I'd try and be creative with a dot com because I look at .biz domains as a tad tacky ... but that's my personal opinion and doesn't reflect you.
Please don't take this as a negative post, just my thoughts!
For example, if you were looking to setup a corporate website for a large company then .com is the really only option (and .co.uk, etc) - .biz just wouldn't look profressional.
I don't really like .biz to be honest though - sounds too much like a teenager text messaging. ;) Again, that could very well be appropriate for some websites and work well.

It confuses the less tech-savvy people when you start throwing around more than .com and .org. Most that I've run into are hazy about what .net is (and so am I at this point).
.biz? What's that? Is that like .bz? Sounds like a Mediterranean country's extension. Or a leftover from the booming bubble when "biz" was [wall]street for business.
.info - I think this one has some potential, but not for a business.
.us - .com is the U.S. extension. What next? .co.us?
Just spend a few hours or a few days writing down ideas for an unregistered .com.
You'll find that every single one of them is taken, except for the one you go with. This is a sign. Don't mess with fate.
