I have won an auction on SnapNames (Backorder service) for a domain name. I have received a log in and password a week after the auction so that i can manage my domain (Change DNS and Whois info).
The problem is that after changing the DNS and Whois Info, no modifications have been updated after nearly 2 weeks. The registrar in the meantime is pointing my domain to a PPC page and earning a revenue from my traffic...
I have tried to contact the registrar by email but I have not had a response. It seems also that the phone number listed for the registrar is a mobile phone number which has been disconnected...
So to sum up, I owe a domain and have a no control for it, and I cannot contact the registrar,
If you have any ideas of what i can do please do let me know,
Thanks,
Sam

While there are *lots* of things you can do (ICANN, etc., etc), what I would do is contact SnapNames ... provide them with complete details, and ask if they can assist you.
I have had remarkable customer support from them with some significant issues -- albeit not the one you describe.
