Hi there

I have seen a few potential domain names with only the .uk.net versions still available.

I'm not very knowledgable on this subject - Can anyone advise if these are worth getting - ie do they hold as much sway in Search Engines as say .co.uk domain names, or am I wasting my time?

Cheers

Search engines don't care whether your domain extension is a .com, a .uk.net, or a .se; however, users sometimes either (a) view sites with less familiar extensions with suspicion, or (b) misremember urls and type in .com by mistake. How the various pros and cons play out depends on the site, the visitors, and most important of all the marketing strategy.
