Buying Domains in Bulk

Where can I buy a million domains?

I was wondering if anyone has experience in buying large amounts of domains in bulk, preferrably domains that once had sites/traffic on them. What do you look for? How are prices negotiated?

I think domain name prices, even in such amount, can never be lower than something arround $6.00 (not sure the exact amount), since this is the price at the registrar.
I think the one who offers better prices for bulk purchases is godaddy.
