Hi,

Could anybody please shed some light on the following question. We own the domain example.net and we have a dedicated server. We want to make the following changes to our DNS information:

friends.example.net A 202.xx.#*$!.44
friends.example.net 10 MX smtp.meta4-group.com
friends.example.net 20 MX smtp2.meta4-group.com

As a result the following URL should be live:

[friends.example.net...]

Now, our server runs on CONFIXX and we have changed the file in the DNS-Special menu but friends.example.net is not available.

Thanks in advance
Torsten

[edit reason] use example.net - not specifics [/edit]

if example.net is already active, all you need to make friends.example.net active is to add an A record.

Then, you might need to update the Name Virtual Hosting settings on your Web server.

The Confixx [sw-soft.com] documentation might also be helpful.
