Not sure if this is the right forum for this question, but how do you go about replacing or changing the www.mydomain.com to xyz.mydomain.com

So if I have multiple sections in my www.mydomain.com site, when clicking on links within that it will go to xyz.mydomain.com.

Thanks!

The xyz is called a subdomain. To create it, you need to create a new DNS entry for it. And to host both www and xyz on the same Web server, you need to change the Name Virtual Hosting configuration on the server.

How you actually do that depends on who your host is.

I have godaddy.com as my domain host and website host. I will look into this now that I know that it's on the hosting side.

Thanks!
