Host has gone bust - How do I get my domain?

Hi,

I bought a domain and hosted it on 1000rpm.net. I just wanted something to muck around with, store my ebay images on etc, and they took Paypal for monthly subscription.

They have now gone bust I understand (they haven't contacted me).

How do I get the domain name moved?

I'm sure it is a silly question!

Most likely your host was reseller for registrar. Find out what registrar they been using (normally you can see that from whois), registrar should help you get your domain back.

It is always best to choose a reputable hosting that wont go bust, and has been in business a long time.

your host had their site with zoneedit.com a free type dns service, you could contact them direct with hosts name and details, They maybe able to conatct them or change the dns for you to a new host. Hope that helps
