I am looking for a tool that would allow me to generate random domain names and at the same time also check if they are registered or not.

A tool where I can tell the maximum length I am interested, then it goes and generates English "pronouncable" words, and goes and sees if they are available in .com/.net/.org

It does not have to make sense, or be in the Oxford Dictionary, they just have to be pronouncable.

Any tips, links, downloads?

Hmm.. I checked, but cannot find anything on that web site.

Do you happen to have a link to it? I even checked on their site map.

[makewords.com...] does exactly this. You can even add you own keywords, prefixes, suffixes, name length. The generated words are "pronounceable", generated with certain language rules.
