Finding domain names 'similar' to mine

I seem to remember that a few years ago there was a tool somewhere that you could type in a word, and it would bring back a list of all the registered domain names that 'include' it. It was really useful for brand protection, but I've comepletely forgotten where to find it... don't suppose anybody knows what I'm talking about?

There are lots of tools out there that do this - they are one of the ways that registrars and hosts promote their services.

Try a Google Search on {domain name generator} and you'll find a basketful to choose from.

Because these are promotional tools in many cases, and in the spirit of the Forum Charter [webmasterworld.com], I ask that we not point to or discuss any specific tool.
