Nominet Boss Announces Resignation

Dr. Willie Black who has been chairman of Nominet for 9 years has announced his intention to resign, no news yet about a successor.

That is excellent news. We have written to Dr. Black on three seperate occassions and he has not even had the courtesy to bother to reply. These communications were all concerning important issues and were from a member of his organisation who is in the Top 1% of members by the number of registrations. Let's hope we can have a chairman in future who bothers talking to his, or her, members.

Nominet's Managing Director Lesley Cowley by contrast is a superb communicator. She is courteous and diligent and will always give detailed and prompt replies to any member, even when their opinions differ from hers. She is truly an asset to Nominet.
