I'm looking for a little advice. Let's say I registered some-domain.com, and I used webmaster@some-domain.com as the email address for the contact information (owner) with the registrar. Is this a wholly foolish idea? I was kind of thinking, it seems bad to use an email as authentication from the some domain that you need to authenticate.
I've seen this done alot in whois listings, but.... seems kind of counterintuitive to me.
Never ever do this ...it's like shooting yourself in the foot with an unknown time delay before the wound happens and you feel the pain!
the same goes for the admin contact
