Hi,

Could anyone help me out with a small problem?

A new customer of mine has two domain names with IOMART. The customer would like to transfer the domain names away from IOMART but IOMART has told him he does not own the Domain Names. The customer has told me he has never received the certificates for the names, but he has bank records showing all the transactions that IMOART have taken from his bank.

I have checked the WHOIS information and it is showing that IOMART is the Registrant, Admin, Tech. How can he get hold of these Domain Names?

Also has anyone else had any bad experience with this company? My customer has mentioned to me that he has paid for the websites and a rapid ranking service but they have failed to deliver the goods.

For a .co.uk speak to Nominet.org.uk and see what they say.

In general terms, if the legal registrant is not your client then you will have to get the ownership transfered to him at a cost. Who pays this cost (and this is only if the Registrar is willing to transfer ownership) may come down to the lawers.

Good Luck
