Do keyword rich domains trigger the Adware/Scumware?

Does having targeted keywords in your URL domain trigger pop-up ads on infected users computers when they go to your site? Or does that not matter because these adware/scumware companies will just read any html on the page and use any keywords on the entire page to trigger there competing ads over your site?

They read both the URL's and the HTML to the best of my knowledge.
