I have Apache server 2.0.49 up and running on my windows xp machine. I also have a domain name registered (a week ago) which comes up on a whois search so I suppose it has propagated. What more do I need to do to get the domain to point to my ip?

I thought all I had to do was register the domain and tell the registrar what ip to point it to and wall-ah it would work but apparently not. Do I also need to set up some kind of dns on my end? I looked at BIND but there is no good help for a newb.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Ok just thought I found an answer earlier today. Simple DNS Plus. I do need a nameserver on my end. It took only about 10 minutes to set it up and <snip> is up and running! Not a lot of content yet though. It's a one man show!~
