Some time ago I got someone to transfer a domain over to me. I'm not even sure how he did it. The domain is now due for renewal. How do I go about this?

The first thing you need to do is do a "whois" and find out who the registrar is.

Here is a whois too from internic:

[internic.net...]

Check the information, and it will say who the domain is registered with (not the same as hosting). Most registrars have a "renew domains" section.

Worst case scenario - contact their support department and they'll guide you through the steps.

You can actually go to any registrar any more and check the whois info, then transfer/renew the domain with your chosen registrar. While I'd give the REALLY cheap ones a miss (they tend to have invasive ads on their sites) there are various registrars out there with prices per year in the $12-$13 US range.

Many thanks for your replies. I've successfully renewed the domain now.
