Domian Name about to expire

Hi

There is a Domain Name which I am after, the domain name is about to expires soon!

If this sole trader lets the Domain Name expires by a day, how soon can I purchase that Domain Name?

Can I back order this Domain Name and where is the best place to reserve it?

If the domain is really desirable you would do better to give the owner a call. The lapse could indicate a lack of serious interest and the owner may prove to be very fair in the sale. I've done this many times.

You can use SnapNames, Pool or NameWinner. Read each for the details. There are other drop catchers.

Chances are, if it's a good domain, you won't win it so I stick to my original advice. In a competition for a domain you might grab 1 in 100. In a phone call situation you might work out a very fair deal 1 in 3 times.
