I have been looking arround for sites and any site with a few backlinks go for $10K plus. A pr6 seems to be like $500K or so. Are people really buying these things. Do people just sit on these things forever hoping oneday they will find some sucker. Their are a ton around $30K that don't even have content or backlinks.

As for paying $500K for a PR6 - I can't see why anybody would pay so much for something which you can build in a few months (pre sandbox anyhow) for a 200th of that price. Now traffic, that's a different matter entirely.

<sarcasm>Yes I'd just like to say a big thank you to the Australian Government for spending my tax dollars so wisely. It's good to see my money going to such great causes. It's not like it could have been spent on something better. Say like, oh I don't know, better healthcare funding?</sarcasm>

what's interesting about these $200K purchases is that for the end user,it wouldn't matter a bit if you called tourismaustralia.com or tour-australia.com ($7.95)..(:- Ignorance is the mother of all bad purchases.
