two domain names but one hosting plan

can I use one hosting plan for two domains?

Over a year ago I bought a hosting plan which came with free domain registration. So I set able to set up a website with domain name as the URI. If it helps, the website is just for webpages of me and my buddies from high school, nothing commercial.

Now I just registered a second domain name, which is really my name, cos I want my personal website to be named after my name. Duh, sorry.

The issue is: must I purchase a separate hosting plan for this new second domain name? I already have the first hosting plan and have over 150MB of space still remaining in that.

Did I make a mistake? Please advise, thanks.

Depends on your host's policy. Some of the big places like Pair let you host as many domains as you like on one account.
