Domain cloaking by registrar

Hello,

I just acquired a new domain name. My registrar has an option in control panel to cloak my domain to any address. Since I am new to that, I am a little bit confused. I would like to know if there's some flaws with this technique and how search engines consider this.

Thank you

Sounds like godaddy's option. Is it? They use frames which is not good for the search engines.

Also, the address bar will constantly show the root domain (www.domain.com) as users browse your site, no matter which page. That's extremely annoying, if someone wants to find out the exact page url they're on, e.g. to send the link to a friend.

I would stay away from it.
