Hi, i purchased a new domain from godaddy on friday. The next day, I received the "GoDaddy.com Refund" e-mail from godaddy, something like this:

Dear ***

Thank you for ordering from GoDaddy.com!

CUSTOMER NUMBER: ***
LOGIN NAME: ***
RECEIPT NUMBER: ***
ORDER TOTAL: $(7.95)
CUSTOMER SERVICE: (480) 505-8888

What doest that mean? when i login into my godaddy account and goto 'manage domains', i get the 'no domains to manage'. Sorry, i'm new to this. Did the transaction fail or what? Thank you.

It sounds like an "acknowledgment of your order" email to me... I'm confident GoDaddy could provide an authoritative answer. ;)

Did you pay by credit card and have the purchase confirmed that the credit card processing went through and that your order was completed? That takes a few minutes while the credit card info is checked and then you're thanked and sent to a screen with a confirmation number you can jot down.

That's immediately followed by them sending you an email with all the information duplicated - right away, it's sent automatically.

What you paraphrased looks like a confirmation of ordering a domain, not purchasing one.
