Don't blame new extension fans for going around humming Frank Sinatra's New York! New York! this week! For the first time, a .info tops Domain Name Journal's Top Ten chart after NewYork.info completed escrow at Sedo, reaping €22,000 ($28,086 at today's conversion rate) for the seller. The .infos have consistently dominated our New TLD chart and have hit as high as #3 on the all-TLD Top Ten, but this is the first time one has outshone all of the .coms and other established extensions.

I tried to buy a semi generic info domain last week. The domain is unused, unlisted and not worth more than say, €500. The owner dreams of selling it for €400,000. Lol. I have laughed a lot at the phone and he didn't understand why i've been laughing that much. I gonna send him the NY price - he will understand me better then. ;)
