Following on from a previous thread [webmasterworld.com ]

I want to register about 100 domains and whilst web.com and onlineNIC offer great deals (about $7 per domains) I am worried about the renewal fee.

This is borne out of previous registrars stinging you once they know you have a domain and are using - surprise surprise they put up the rates (sometimes triple in my experience) knowing you cannot afford the site to be down two weeks whilst transferring away...!

Does anyone have knowledge of these two providers and their renewal rates so I can get on and purchase next week?

Thanks

I have never had a site down for more than a very short time (occured once). I have recently transferred about 40 domains to a new registrar as they are offering a free transfer and one extra free year of registration on succesfull transfer.

Most registrars tend to be cheaper for the renewal anyhow, if not look at alternatives to transfer out to.
