You can get free .uk.to domain names from [freedns.afraid.org...]

...can be fully functionnal domains or simple html redirect.

Ain't it cool?

well, it is a dns service, and it is free to sign up and use. i've not experienced many problems using the service, but the 'free' service does cost him money :) and i do recall that at times, the amount has been exorbitant. if i may, was there any particular reason you've mentioned only .uk.to (?) domains (as opposed to others, and not to mention the other services offered)?

These are cool services, I also like the .tk [wwww.dot.tk] one, they give newbies a chance to learn.

I'm sure many of these free service people browse all these forums and some times they are even members of it, They sure would love to hear some "good" comments instead of "is he stupid?" ;)

Neato, no ads either. Not bad for freebies.

Thanks for posting these, I just gave a friend a birthday present of her name in .tk and .uk.to (she is from UK) and she loved it. :) Her name had been taken in every other TLD and ccTLD that was reasonably priced.

I also just found co.nr, biz.ly, and uni.cc as legit freebies but .tk and .uk.to are better "sounding"
