Transferring From TOTALNIC

I am activly looking for tips on transferring from TOTALNIC. If you have successfully transferred a domain from them I would love to hear how you did it.

I transferred a name from them over a year ago with no problems. The problem I had with them was that I never registered the name with them to begin with. The first time I ever heard of them was when I got a bill for renewal. I was using other registrars at lower prices , why would I have used them at twice what I was paying for other domains?
Anyway, I paid it, then transferred it somewhere else.
