Hmmmmm, has I wonder if Verisign is backing down. The HTTP server is offline. Maybe they will remove the wildcard on the next zone reload.

sitefinder.verisign comes up fine for me, on misspelling domain names however I get:
nothing (Opera)
IE error page (IE)

Wonder if my ISP has already installed the new patch for BIND.

Ah, i just hoped, but no:
"We didn't find: "www.fkjfklsjkfsdjgfdsgkdf.com""

-too bad, it's an annoying "service". There's even a petition on PetitionOnline against it.

That has to be one of the tackiest, cheesiest things I've ever seen. They should back down, it really makes them look bad.

they might look bad but making a lot of money from it.

The average web user won't even know what is going on and/or why. It's just an error page, like any other.
