Has my .co.uk been extended?

Registrar says yes. Nominet status confusing...

Hi

I have a .co.uk domain registered. The whois shows:

Relevant Dates:
Registered on: 22-Aug-2001
Renewal Date: 22-Aug-2003
Last updated: 18-Apr-2002

Registration Status:
Renewal required.

The registrar says they have paid Nominet to renew the domain but I don't exactly trust them.

Is there a set time between the payment being made and the Renewal Status changing?

Or is there any other way of checking if they have paid for the renewal?

Thanks

I can't answer the question but normally nominet are very helpful if you phone them up with a query, and their number is on nic.uk.

Cheers Smiley

Just called Nominet and you're right, they are very helpful :)

They explained that they only bill on the 7th of the month following expiry. So that means the registrar can't have paid the renewal because they haven't had a bill for it yet.
