Recently, on a lark I purchased a domain name that expired due to the fact that the company had some turnover in the IT dept(and nobody renewed). I on a wim, snatched it up, and a couple weeks later, the company offered and purchased the domain back from me for $1200.
Needless to say, I was happy. This 'hooked' me and now I am on deleteddomains.com all the time, looking for generic, 3 letter, and 'forgetful company' expired domains for resale.
Have you guys had luck with this? Is this the best place to go to find expires? I woulkd assume being it is a free service, the internal people at deleteddomains.com probably snipe out all the good ones? Where else can I find real time deletions?
Lastly, when contimplating a domain purchase (especially when looking at forgetful comapny domains), do you search on Google for old domain 'webbed' info, to confirm that it was a recent Live site.
Thanks in advance for your input!

Also, please explain to me what you mean by 'Google has shut down the listing....etc'.
Does this mean that when the domain is deleted, so are all Google listings?
Help a thick guy lose his money =)
Thanks
My advice: get-rich-quick-schemes don't work, so don't bother. If they did work, we'd all be millionaires, but we're not. Making money on the internet requires a bit of effort. Find a niche, write some good content for it, build a useable accessible site, optimise it for the search engines, submit it, market it, keep it updated and relevant... you'll have a good site that you can make some money from through advertising and/or product sales.
