AFAIK - the OpenSRS interface is pretty customisable and should suit your needs. Their range of available domains also includes .UK extensions, which might be handy.

oh boy.... I fogot the last thing.... I don't want to do support either:) I should have said that before but I associate support with being a reseller.... resellers generally do support, affiliates generally dont do support.... but then again, affiliates generally dont get fully branded sites:)

enom sounded great until we started talking about support... basically, years ago, there used to be a company called registrars.com and they had a brilliant little script that you could post to but the static html pages actually resided on your server. they took care of billing, support and the registration, I took care of making traffic and collecting checks.... I can't find anything like that anymore.... domainpeople is about the best I've found, but that was just 'paste your logo here' type of thing. enom has a product like that but you still have to do the support. I hate support:) I just like SEO

A company that would do all the support but let you still own the customer, wow that sounds neat. I have not seen anything like that for domains but I am sure there is a demand for it. To bad registrars.com has been bought and sold two times now. I think the current owner is Verisign. I actually have a few registrars.com medal pens from when they visited my office (those pens are neat).

I don't need to own the customer (but with domainpeople they can renew with you, so you can make more money) but I just like a customization aspect... most registration systems are confusing because the people who program them know what they are doing and the people who use them don't. I used to pride myself in building sites that were idiot friendly:) Now no one gives you any control. At one point I even built a frontend using leased linguistic smart search technology... basically now all I want is a registration form so I can post into it. I can figure out my own lookup script if I need to.

....Guess they don't make em like they used to

Well plenty of registrars have APIs, but they don't offer support on those end-customers because they are branded as yours.

yeah, I know... my thinking is that in order to get customers, I need full brandability.... once they buy then I don't mind letting the cat out of the bag ...as long as they have the quality support that I promised... ie, I hack the login box and put it on my support page along with the icann registrars number.... they want to call, fine... they want to login to manage their account, fine... but I'm covered... anyone walking in off the street doesn't see anything else but me:) I'm an seo, not a registrar... as long as the surfer doesn't get hurt, all's fair

well, I took a look at 2 real close... one had a better (generic) secure url... done right.... you could hack it down to the bare domain but it is essentially was nothing more than a blank page that said it was secure... but in the end, it came down to money:) Back in the day when I ranked for anything to do with domain names, my account manager at registrars.com loved me to death.... when he moved, he tried to take me with him to domainpeople... to sweeten the deal he gave me the best $ rate that was on his chart. I signed the agreement but then when I got into the script, it was too weak, so I opted for a buddy of mine that went ICANN himself and needed money more than they did.... of course in the end, he didn't pay me:) Anyway, when Yahoo switched over to Google, that was the last of my big traffic, so I just let the cert expire and walked away... well, now I'm back:) So I blew off the dust on that old contract am am planning to fire it up in the morning. In this day and age I can't ever imagine ranking again for 'domain name' against Register.com NetSol and the other big boys, but hey, you have to play in order to win:)

And BTW, domainpeople got a better script... much more template driven than their old one, but the url in your status bar still says 'domainpeople.com' which is just irritating given the fact that the could register anything they wanted for nothing. So my strategy now is to see if I can cloak that bad boy using my reposting script, one of my own certified secure domains, and an iframe and see if I can still serve up some of those tasty spam sandwiches:)

Dogboy, try WWD (godaddy reseller service).
