this is also the first i've really heard of this situation, though the web dev. told me it's because the registry system has changed and tried to give me the synopsis of it - and i sort of get it, but now we just havve to console the client because there's nothing we can do about it.
if anyone can summarize or point me at a thread/article that describes this situation simply, I'd appreciate it, that way i can maybe help shift some 'blame' off the web dev.
