Can anyone tell me if it is better for link popularity (& pr) to have an IP for all domains hosted on a virtual server:

123.456.123.456 = www.abc.com
123.456.123.456 = www.def.com

or different IP's on the same virtual server like this:

123.456.568.697 = www.abc.com
123.456.645.324 = www.def.com

PR is not related to IP address. But there are two views on this: The paranoid one and the other one. With the paranoid one tells you just don't take the chance. But in reality their is no proof that this paranoid view even exists in reality. But the paranoid view is not based on just being safe. In the old days some search engines did use IP addresses, so I guess it never hurts to have multiple IPs. But Google will tell you that PR is not related to an IP address at the end of the day. What if someone pointed their PR0 domain at your IP address? This is just one of many reasons that PR can't be related to IP addresses.

I would spread it out just in case. I guess im paranoid! If ips do get used then you could be in trouble.

Be safe!
