Does anyone know a website that I can register a free .com domain name? It doesnt matter if they are covered in advertisements...

Those days are over.... The closest I have seen is enom's name only at $5.99, that is 13 cents below wholesale cost.

The ones I've seen are bundled with contracts, IE: you got to host with them for x amount of months, if you try to leave, well they own the domains, you pay fees and so forth. Not worth it...
