Where can I find a realistic domain marketplace?

Looking for a good domain broker with sensible prices!

I was looking around for a good domain broking site. I'm amazed at the delusions people continue to have about their domain names. How can my-great-pink-widgets.com be worth $20,000 or anything close to that amount! Which webmaster in his right mind would cough up that much for such a name.

There are people who state clearly that they haven't made a red cent from their site and yet quote hundreds of thousands of dollars or 'closest serious offer' for a domain name. This holds true for so many domain trading sites. Who are they kidding?

Are these people really finding the suckers they're looking for?
Where can I find a domain marketplace that has serious entrepreneurs selling at realistic prices?

Thanks!

95% of people trying to sell domains are full of C#x@

the other 5% are serious but keep their mouth shut, and their deals quite secret.

All depends how good your domain name is, and whether its a .com .net .org or instead a country tld such as .co.uk

however be advised even generic .com names which you would think are worth millions are exchanging hands for less than 100k

UK tlds are slightly behind, the biggest deal I have seen this year was for £85,000 and that was a "prime" 3 letter .co.uk name (hint=homosexual)

this URL may give you some insight:
[dnjournal.com...]

there are a # of discussion forums out there, such as domainstate and dnforum

as for brokers, 2 come to mind: Sedo and Greatdomains (really not doing much)

hope that helps, and if its a .co.uk then let me know :)
