As I haven't bought any .coms in ages & now need to buy a load of them, who is a cheap provider that doesn't charge you to transfer the domains, is fast, gives user access to aname & mail records, nameserver stuff etc?

I use easily.co.uk & think they're excellent but I'm not keen on paying £35 for a .com. (I need them for 1 year only)

This has probably beeen asked here a hundred times so if there is a recent answer, could someone please direct me? (I have done a site search)

Thanks all
John

As a point of interest the further away from the "Accredited Registrars" [icann.org] you get the more likely you are to run into problems.

Go Daddy and eNOm are on the list. firstns is not. This doesn't mean that you will run into problems. It does mean that they are using a branded interface provided by someone closer to (or provided by) one of the accredited registrars. Just food for thought.

You might also take a look at NameBargain.com (part of Register.com), and DotRegistrar.com. I've purchased hundreds from both, and overall pretty good service. They are both well under 10 bucks and have easy transfer abilities.
