.INFO - uk searches

Ive looked through posts (fairly old posts) about .info sites.

Im based in the UK and will be creating a number of .info sites based on areas within the UK, will I get into the search engines OK, or will as suggested in some posts be placed on the bottom?

My actual .info domain name has my two main keywords within it - will this help?

On UK engines which filter by domain extension (like Yahoo UK) - you won't appear at all on UK searches. On those who filter by hosting location (like Google UK) you should appear if you are hosting in the UK.

what other popular engines filter by domain extensions, and do you think I will loose a lot of potential customers? My main target will be UK based.

Apart from changing URLS, is their any way around this problem?
