Cloaking URL

I'm not sure if this is the right area for this.

I have a problem. I have a legit site that is by mandate, not allowed to have sites directed at it. It's a long story about how others are allowed and some are not. There are other madding things about this situation but I will spare you. I have thought about it for awhile and I have decited to stop being angry about it and do it anyway.

I have started the process by cloaking my pages so I can create redirects from optimized pages to the main site.

The problem is that I'm not sure what the url at the bottom of descripton in the SE's will say. The url in the se's need to show the url of the page being re directed to.

Will this happen? If not, can I do this some how?

To make sure I understand your situation and question...

You have created a mirror site to cloak. THEN when someone clicks a link on the mirror site (for exmaple, "Click Here to View Product X Detail"), they're taken to that page on the "REAL" site?

When you write "...redirects from optimized pages to the main site" ...
... "optimized" pages are "cloaked" pages?

The URL in the SE will display as whatevber the "clicked-on" links anchos says. If you click on a link on the cloaked./optimized page leading to "http://www.wodgets.com/blue/" THAT IS EXACTLY what will who up in the S.E. description.

OR... do you mean what URL will be shown for the site "visited" (The cloaked site)?
If that;s your question, then yes, the cloaked site;'s URL will be displayed as the site being ashown in the SERPs.

Simple solution I've used successfully many times: Use a VERY similar URL
e.g.: if the main site is www.WidgetsSite.com" try "WidgetsSite.net" for the cloaked site. Or... "www.TheWidgetsaSite.com" or a misspelling: "www.WigdetsSite.,com" I've never been called on it.

But I'm confused as to your problem. And I COULD BE WAY OFF BASE.

Please elaborate.
If you're using PHP to cloak, I'm CONFIDENT I can help you.

Best Regards,
