I am thinking of starting to accept Paypal and was wondering how easy or hard it is to get your money out in Canada $s? What are the fees for this?

Any other issues?

Thanks,
Shane

I have used PayPal for years without any issues. You can get the money transfered into your bank account in Canadian funds, or you can get a PayPal debit MasterCard and take money out at an ATM machine, or use it just like a credit card. PayPal takes care of the exchange rate.

I believe there is a $1 fee to get cash from the ATM, no fee for using the MasterCard (and you can sign up for their cash back on every transaction program). It's been a while since I transfered to a Canadian bank account, and I don't believe there were fees, but it did take a good 4-5 business days for it to show up in my bank account.

You can also accept and send payments in Canadian funds now, too (along with a list of other currencies).

When you sign up, PayPal will spell out all the details much better than I can ;)
