PayQuake, Anyone?

How does it stack up to the others?

After trying 2checkout and PaySystems, I found myself searching for other alternatives for the ecommerce site that isn't quite ready for a full merchant account.

I ran across PayQuake and it looks interesting. But it appears to be new and I'm not finding much on it.

Anyone have any insight into PayQuake?

Hello,
I have a giftbasket site and I've been using PayQuake for about 7 months. I love it. No problems. I don't have alot of sales yet, so it is economical for me. Just my 2 cents.

chelseaandco, have you had a chance to deal with PayQuake's support yet? How fast do they get back to you when you have a question or problem?

Perplexed, I'm not leaving anybody yet. I have a few sites on 2checkout and a couple starting out on PaySystems.

Check around the various message boards and you'll find lots of people complaining about both. Seems they both have their problems from time to time.

I'd like to have something better to turn to, especially when 2CO or PaySystems causes enough problems to make my clients unhappy.

So far payquake has been great both front and back end for our associates. They are rather new and are very focused on providing a good customer service impression.

I took a closer look at PayQuake's website. Not a lot of details about their service. Left me with a bunch of questions:

-- The Authorize.net gateway appears to be included at no extra charge. What about the Miva shopping cart mentioned in the FAQ? Is that thrown in or does it cost extra?

-- I assume that any shopping cart set up to interface with Authorize.net will work. Right?

-- Does PayQuake provide a secure page for completing cc transactions, or is that the responsibility of the website using PayQuake?

-- I assume the difference between each level of service offered is the transaction fees charged (more expensive service, lower transaction fees). Or are their other differences not obvious from the website description?

I'm a little irked when someone expects me to fill out an application form just to learn about the service....

Hello again,
As I said, I use PayQuake and have had no problems. They do have a secure cc page thru Authorize.net that you can manually enter the cc info, or do it automatically thru your cart's software. Also, they have a list of about 200 shopping carts that they can work with. Basically, they told me that if your cart accepts authorize.net, it will work with PayQuake.

Payquake question: do they have their own shopping cart like 2checkout? Or must you use your own set up?

We are new to payquake, but have found them to be very responsive to questions or problems. We use Miva Shopping cart and it intergrates well with "authorize.net" via payquake. So far so good.
