I feel that we have reached the limits that could be achieved or afforded with search engine optimization and PPC search engines. Therefore we are looking for alternative sources of advertising.

The issue now is to get customers who are not necessarily searching for your products and so I am worried about the conversion rates. However, I feel that our business will never expand unless we take this risk.

The packages I am looking at are from

www.klickonusa.com
www.visitorfinder.com

I am thinking of using their pop-under and direct e-mail packages. Eventually, if successful we may opt for more expensive packages such as from fastclick.com

I wonder if any of you have any experiences with the the above agents and have you got any recommendations.

I feel that we have reached the limits that could be achieved or afforded with search engine optimization and PPC search engines.

No experience with those packages however "achieved or afforded" is a bit contradictory.

Adding new content on informative topics is a sure fire method of diversifying market search terms with the potential of conversions and link exchanges adds more weight to this as well.

Both have no appreciable "upfront" costs other than time.

I am thinking of using their pop-under and direct e-mail packages.

"pop under" is not the way to do > if you are looking to increase conversions - more often than not this is a sure fire way of limiting your current visitation.

emails a bit better > highly recommend an opt in newsletter. A return visitor/customer is an easier sale.

Thanks for your reply. I have just tried e-mail marketing with visitorfinder and did not get a single customer. After 10,000 e-mails, I could only see around 20 visitors visiting our site because of that campaign.

What I meant by afforded was really being cost effective. I could see a competitor bidding up to $1.00 for a one word non-specific search term for a product that usually sells for less than $30. There is just no way they can make money out of this, perhaps they just want to keep competitors out. We have got two Google PR6 and a Google PR7 site and therefore we have probably got as far as we with Search Engine Optimization.

I am thinking of trying the hypertraffic program of Bpath. I wonder has anyone got any experience of that?
