Hi-

I have a client who would like to set up a method for his clients to pay for services online. This way each month (or period of time) the fee can automatically be withdrawn from their back accounts. Or, they can simply go into the site and pay at their convenience.

It's safe to say that I won't be developing an application for this at the moment, so is there something reasonable I could purchase or enact that will allow this? I'm sure this is nothing new, so if there are some other threads on it just nudge me in that direction.

Thanks!

If you are referencing withdrawing money from a bank account and depositing to another, you are looking for an "ACH" service. This comes in many forms. It can be done through your browser by accessing a site and entering your user name and password. You then enter in the checking info and presto!.. the money will be transferred. Other services include software that allows you to do it via your PC. One down side...since 9/11 they are scrutinizing this form of payment. Guess it's easy to transfer money and has the powers to be nervous. This means approval will be dependent on the business type, average sale amount, monthly volume and credit of the signor.

If he wants to take recurring payments via credit cards payment systems are readily available and easy to set-up.

Feel free to contact me with any questions.
