Hello,
I need to bill a credit card directly from my web-page, which is written in PHP, how can I do that I found various scripts for CC validation on [hotscripts.com...] , but I'm still frustrated about which to use and don't know if they really help me transfer money from one credit card to another...

what a solution can be?

Those scripts are only designed to check the validity of the number. They don't actually transfer funds.
You need a merchant account and a gateway to accept payments. There are also a lot of comanies that would do it for you for a percentage of your sales.

The scripts that you mentioned just check that the number entered by the customer is a valid card number. I'm not talking about AVS or any other record lookups. The numbers on cards follow a pattern and those scripts check that pattern. It's just some math and nothing more. No financial transactions.

Once you open an account with a gateway, they will provide you with their own scripts to use.

Mal's E-Commerce is a site that has a shopping cart that you can link to your site.

They also have a feature where you can collect all the billing info, shipping info, order total, and pass them the information. You then direct the customer to their credit card entry page for the final entry. There they can enter the info and have it processed by the Mal's script. It's a pretty nice feature at a very low cost if that's all you are looking to do.

There are a lot of security risks in writing your own scripts, as long as that you keep it in mind.

thanks, that's interesting!
could you give me some links to those shopping carts that take a percent from my money transfer?

there are dozens of card processing companies you can choose from. they all charge different rates with different terms / conditions etc. some allow you to process in multiple currencies, some don't. some require you to have a merchant account from your bank, some don't. look carefully at what each one does, what cards they accept, whether they will process for merchants in your country, how long before the money is paid into your bank account etc. don't pick the cheapest because it's cheapest, pick the service you need. if you pick the cheapest, you might save money, but you might also lose sales. read back through old threads here to see what others have to say about each processing company etc.

look at whether they include a shopping cart. you can see more card processing companies listed at www.mals-e.com. mals cart integrates with most or all of those he lists.
